My Story

Just a small town girl.

I am deeply passionate about research for impact. I have always been action oriented with a strong moral compass, so when I started my PhD, I knew I wanted to work on a project that could have real world implications. My research seeks to support evidence-based decision making for climate risk and justice. But I didn't always do research.

Skills

Where I excel.

I have a broad range of skills and expertise that I employ in my research and everyday life.

Research

Over two years of research experience as a research assistant. Proven ability to learn quickly and produce quality work.

Project Management

Over three years of project management experience (not counting the massive project that is a PhD). Demonstrated ability to manage projects to time and budget and resolve client conflict.

Design Thinking

Broad awareness of design thinking and how to create projects that embody human centered design. This means that I am able to empathise with the end users, delivering something meaningful.

Data Visualisation

A picture tells 1000 words. I am able to find creative intuitive ways of visualising information, both using design software and Python.

Clients

Real world experience.

During the three years as a project manager, I was lucky to work with a diverse range of companies (as clients), including fin-tech, universities, and government agencies).

Although I am no longer a project manager, I employ my pm skills every day.

Testimonials

What my clients say.

Camille was always a great help on my international projects. Not only does she come up with own ideas, but she also speaks and understands German. 10/10 I would recommend!

Constantin Grudda Dexcom

It is hard to come across a standout like Camille. I had the pleasure of working with Camille for over two years at FreshForm, collaborating on several client and internal teams. Her ability to grasp new information and learn quickly enables her to handle multiple projects with little stress, while her energy and empathy make her an ideal colleague.

Bob Zucco FreshForm.

I had the pleasure of working with Camille to strategically develop OzHarvest's Fight Food Waste program. Camille is incredibly efficient and proactive. She is focused and action oriented. Working with Camille was fun, easy and nothing was ever too much.

Understanding climate risk externalities through the global supply chains: a framework and review of the literature on existing approaches

The literature on supply chain risks of climate change using quantitative techniques is limited. Our review confirms that no research adopts sustainability assessment methods to assess climate risk at a business-level.Read here!

From mines to consumption via global supply chains: A viewpoint on assessing modern slavery and disease interactions

In this viewpoint, we highlight that modern slavery and disease risk interactions have not been explored in global supply chains and explore the value of multi-region input-output (MRIO) analysis in exploring these feedbacks. Read here!

Inequality, modern slavery, greenhouse gas emissions, and climate change are embroidered together in complex feedback loops. In this Viewpoint, we suggest that greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and modern slavery are both underpinned by, and a result of, inequality and together have a profound effect on climate change.
